IS NOW -365.

I am digging this could be one of the highest ML numbers in the last 5 years in the playoffs.

Also digging cause I know CC has not cashed many tickets over -300. EVER.

Last couple of years:

2008: When CC starts with a moneyline of -200 or more, the record for cashing is 9 wins vs 2 losses and when he was -300 or higher 2 wins vs 0 losses

2009: He was -200 or higher 15 times and the record for cashing is 11 wins vs 4 losses. When he was -300 or higher 2 wins vs 1 loss.

Gonna be really tough for Minny in this game just due the fact big win last night extra innings, plus have to play the very next day traveling. Can't see the Yanks losing, but hard to play a line that steep.

Thank You.

The question is this. Is this the best lock of the entire 1st round of playoffs or are the books looking to just bury Yankee bettors in game 1 so it is a deep hole to climb out of 90% of the bets are on NYY. Think about it the casual bettor and the big time bettor laying -300+.

Breaking it down.

Johnny the local NY fan who normally bets 100-200 on Yankee game well now its the playoffs so he lays down a 500 or 600 to win less $200.

Vinnie the guy from Brooklyn who bets big games with his buddies who lays a nickel and sometimes a dime needs to lay over 1750 to win a nickel.

Now we got the investment bankers who lay 1-5k a game. Well you see what I am getting at. Say the Yankees lose game 1. Not only do the books KILL Yankees bettors but next game and the games after the lines will be over inflated to compensate.

Does this make any sense.

vegas doesnt live and die by one game. with that said, you rarely get value betting on the yankees, but with the gap in juice you cant really justify a play on the twins either.
