Wally still has the lead w/58k

Just got off the phone w/Bob Green he got shortstacked and went all in w/a4 and ran into pocket rockets, he's gone. He is railing Wally and told me wally built his stack w/top set, with 2 callers w/both smaller sets.

Bad beats and unreal hands happen in person also, just not as often as online because the hands are not near as quick.

I won a very strange in a tourney at Caesars couple months ago, where I had a straight flush, beat a smaller straight flush and another guy got knocked out with the nut flush but not a straight flush!

UPDATE: 50 people left

Wally is sitting in 2nd now w/58k still.

They are on round 7 and said they play through 9 tonite, which are 1 hour rounds. They said they tourny is going much quicker than planned so they expect a short day tomorrow.

The Quads of Denny Crum
Sick hand of the day:

Denny Crum and his opponent get it all in preflop. Crum has KK to his opponent's AA . The board comes KQJA..... and what was a set over set becomes quads for Crum. He's at 98,300.

Denny can fkin play! I sat next to him last year in the Denny Crum Open. Saw him get away from KK when his opponent had AA. I was extremely impressed.

i sat next to him this year and he still remembered you one whole year later, agent this agent that agent would've played it this way, i finally told him to stfu, he cant believe you bleached your hair

Well he has survived day 1, 27 players left.

I am not sure what the hell he did, imo prob. bluffed 2/3 off suit, but he has shortstacked himself down to 21k. I will talk to him in the morning and get his explanation, hopefully he gets his head back straight, Agent can attest to this he is a good player, but his aggressive style, alot of times he knocks himself outta tourneys. 9 people to eliminate til the money.

Wow. Would love to know what happened. Probably a race....I will give this guy credit and say he puts more pressure on you when in a pot than any other player I have ever faced.

Hope he pulls it out, tell him hey Countin!
