yes, some people will always be labor. And if you excel in your field you will not be making minimum wage for long. I ran a business once where we had two brothers that were janitors. The barely spoke English, but their work as superb. They required little or no supervision; were never sick; were always on time; loved to work overtime. In 1998 when I left, hey were making $12 an hour and $18 an hour for their 6th day. They had no education and my Spanish was better than their English. But they made a very nice wage BECAUSE they were top quality workers. Others in their place did make minimum wage or maybe $7 per hour. What enabled them to make more was their skill.
