can you believe that this game actually becomes somewhat meaningful again tonight? the celts are closing in on clinching a playoff spot and solidifying thier position...the lakers need the win to stay within striking distance of the kings...this is the second of two meetings this year with the celts pulling out an improbable comback at the forum feb 19. for a 109-108 victory...it was even more improbable due to the fact that was shaqs first game back after an extended absence...everything in that game pointed to a lakers win and blowout for that matter...toinght the lakers will be most likely without shaq and samaki walker may not be able to go tonight due to a viral infection... anderson will play tonight for the c's...believe me when i tell you the celts will be ready to go tonight ...they are motivated and ready to show some people that they are a legitimate team...interesting angle on this game is that the hometown newscasts were actually at the lakers practice yesterday rather than the celts...talk about disrespect ...and a quote from the boston globe, " The celtics used to get that attention and command as well. there was a time when the lakers actually circled the date their one date to boston. NOW THE CELTICS ARE JUST ANOTHER STOP, NO. 3 OF FOUR ON THEIR CURRENT SWING ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD. YESTERDAY THEIR COACH, CENTER, AND BACKUP CENTER WERE NOT AT PRACTICE , AND NO ONE REGARDS BOSTON ANY DIFFERENTLY THAN SAY, CLEVELAND OR ORLANDO." the lakers do have a stellar record at boston lately but the celts will be ready to go tonight.
