Who was the over all best team in the sec and maybe in the nation this year...... Hands down Alabama.......... I think Bama will beat them silly period.. Alabama is a home game (depth) and McClain staying from winning back to back championships..

NO WAY IN MY OPINION WILL THE LIKES OF MICH ST STAY WITH THEM..

Bottom line they are a very,very, good team.. and will kick the living shit out of the Spartans.................

I have watched State play this year many times and can tell you that they have not faced a team with such speed at every position as Bama.

State will not go up top often with the deep pass, rely more on soft zone coverage with a good running game. The QB of state is very good and is hard to get to because of his quick release.

Bama should be able to score on State on offense, I am just thinking bama is to just to fast and athlectic for State to over come. Every one is wrapped around a 11-1 record that State brings in and how they were snubbed, well they were snubbed for a reason and I think after this game will show why.


Bama is probably the best team in my opinion in the nation..lf Auburn plays them 5 times, Bama wins 3.. So why didn't they do it again, SEC ROAD SCHEDULE.. PERIOD...... BRUTAL... I bet you no one wants to play this team now that Ingram and Richardson have had time to heal........ BEAT DOWN.... BAMA- 45 STATE-7

Got to agree with your assessment of things.

Only hesitation is that you could say the same thing about Nebraska last night.

Turns out Nebraska didnt give a shit about this bowl game and didnt see it as any feather in their cap.

Will Alabama do the same thing ?

Mich St could make this a tough game.

You know I was going to make an argument about Saban not letting his teams let up and I remembered the big turd sandwich they laid against Utah.


I also think that Pelini has some issues with that team and they are a caricature of himself, undisciplined idiots.



I think State had an inflated record though. They should have been beaten by a seriously mediocre ND team and they got thumped in Iowa City, somehow beat Northwestern and squeaked past Purdue. They didn't play OSU either this year.


I think Bama rolls here though and they will add to the SEC beating up on Big Ten pretenders.
