2 for Thursday 9/22.........
Georgia Tech +10 over Clemson.... 4 units....... LOSS..... *I actually made my wager earlier in the week and received +11 but for posting purposes I will go with the current line. Shouldn't make much of a difference.
Clemson hasn't fared well going into Bobby Dodd. That's just the facts. Rambling Wreck is light years better this year and they only lost 43-24 ly when Tigers were unstoppable. Bottom line is I really can't make a case for Tigers here, as they have been playing uninspired ball so far this season with wins against Auburn 19-13, and Troy 30-24. They aren't scaring anyone with the exception of lws thriller (joking).
Clemson D is ranked 8th in total Defense, but having to prepare for this GTech option can cause fits. Really wouldn't be a surprise if GTech wins outright.
HSF Degen : Today
Sumner/Graham-kapowsin Over 50'...1 unit... (-120)... WINNER ...2 of the Washington States better HSF teams go at it tonight. Both come in to their league game undefeated, and both teams are coming off identical records for 2015, where both lost in the State Championship. Due to realignment, both teams are playing in the 4A division, and both are now in each other's league. They did not play last year.
In this Clash of Titans, both teams have 2 common opponents for 2016, which is unique this early. Unfortunately, you can't tell much as Sumner beat South Kitsap 56-15 and beat Curtis 42-0. Graham-kapowsin beat South Kitsap 69-38, and Curtis 27-21. By these scores alone Sumner gets the nod. They are - 3 tonight. as s
Both teams have tremendous talent on both sides of the ball. Sumner features RB/DB Connor Weddington who has rushed for 526 yards on 40 carries w/8 TDS. He can also catch the ball out of the back field with 6 catches for 114 yards w/2 TDS. The kid is staying at home going to Washington U. The Coach thinks this is the best OLine he has ever had! They pass protect for QB Luke Rossi 6'2" 175 lbs who is completing 70% of his passes. He gets the job done in a split back offense.
Standout QB for Graham-kapowsin is 6'1" 185 lbs Dylan Morris. He is one of the highest ranked Qbs in 2019 recruits for the whole nation. . A dual-threat he has 6 WRs that have capable hands. Also, sharing the backfield is RB Micah Smith who has 61 carries for 664 yards and 9 tds. Leading the way up front is T Foster Sarrel 6'6" 310 lbs of pure terror, known for blocking the DTacks into the LBs. He is considered to be the #1 Olineman in the Nation and could be the #1 recruit. Both Olines are huge and physical. Might be the biggest in the state. There is some meat on the Defensive side of the ball, too.
Both teams also have very athletic, lock down CBs and all are Div 1 recruits.
This game should be a good one at the high school level. Both teams can score and it should go over the total.
