Tough spot here for Fresno for multiple reasons - off of tough loss in game labeled as the program's biggest ever by HC Hill - this on the heels of huge cross-country win vs Rutgers (both games nationally televised) - on deck is in-state rival and BCS big brother UCLA and then conf rival and ly's BCS crasher Hawaii

A lot of bubbles burst lw vs Badgers, as FSU had supposed BCS bowl aspirations - extra tough that they outgained Wisc and probably should have won with kicker missing 3 of 4 - now a trip back east to play Toledo

The Rockets jacked up for the game as its the 1st time a top-25 team has travelled to the Glass Bowl since BG in '04 - home opener as well and reports are that tix will be scarce


Basically a game that's an afterthought for one side and the super bowl for the other - and the team that will be up for the game is at home and getting points - Toledo looking to put themselves back on the college football map and my $$ says they will get it done on Saturday

imo there are a few games that feature a favorite that is in a tough spot...either coming off a disappointing loss or facing a big game next week...it will be interesting to see how these games play out...

Want to book this one while I can still def grab 4 TD's - last time these 2 teams met in 2006 USF squeaked out a 21-20 win in Tampa - FIU home opener as they unveil new stadium - should be sufficient to get the juices flowing enough to cover this large # against their in-state rival

Another one where I'd like to assure myself of the semi-key # - battle of the iron skillet b/t in-state foes - SMU d terrible but I think they will put up some points in their home opener
