Glad to be back boys

Let's see, we have a team that every outlet in the national media has annointed the second best in the nation against a team that everyone thinks is one of the worst in the nation, right?

And the line opened at 16.5 and is now up to 21 at some places?

More reasoning involved but gametime approaches - playing:

7 units MSU +21 (local out)

And as always, gl no matter which sides you choose

Sylvester Croom - wow!

not too sure why I would be surprised.....and sorry for late post

anyhow, see a lot of people on the Navy 1st half and I'm not sure why (besides the obvious - Temple sucks) - problem is, waiting on deck for the Midshipmen are the Scarlet Knights, who handed Navy a 34-0 beatdown ly - Temple has had a bunch of time to prepare for the option attack and Navy is very inexperienced on the defensive side of the ball - new d-line coach for the Owls who switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 and have a lot of experience on that front line - may see an improvement in Owl "O' as well and I think the dog will hang around a little bit in this one as they might not have the full attention of the middies

Playing:

5 units Temple 1st half +12.5

Also playing:

2.5 units UW ML -160

Think the Pac-10 is much stronger from top to bottom than the BE and that it will show tonight - looking for a strong performance from Huskies' RF QB Locker

CFB YTD / - 10.7 units

Not exactly the start I was looking for - Owls "d" seemed to remember what they had been practicing after halftime unfortunately - Locker looked great, Huskies may be a force to be reckoned with this year in the Pac-10

Today playing

2.5 units ECU +28

Too many points here IMO - VT will be sky high for this one but I'm not sold on the Hokies being a solid top 10 squad - QB Glennon better be vastly improved if they intend to make noise - matchup with #2 LSU looming as well

5 units ILL ML +160

Think this game will showcase two high-powered offenses but will feature only 1 defense that will be able to get off the field - Juice has a few new targets this year and I believe that the Fighting Illini will get just enough stops to pick up the SU win

GL to all on this 1st big Saturday of CFB action

like both of those dawgs
don't see va tech beating ECU by 28 unless the D puts up 2 or 3 touches
Hopefully the Illini recruiting class is all its cracked up to be and they start right away

Bad luck for Illini backers with Juice going down, seemed as though they were about to take over the game : (

Guess I'll just have to press the Pokes - 4 returning starters on D for the Dogs combined with an extremely potent O for the Cowboys makes over 2-1 just too hard too pass up - OK ST has had their eyes on this one all summer

Make it 9 units all day

2002 - TT 20 / SMU 14

2004 - TT 27 / SMU 13

(game tied at 6 in 3rd; TT runs 2 plays in last seconds to run up score)

2006 - TT 35 / SMU 3 - SMU Fr QB Willis's 1st start

Game shifts back to Mustangs home-field - Pony HC Bennett owns 17-41 mark at SMU with 6 wins coming last year - program on the verge of turning the corner - close games in recent years at SMU despite subpar Mustang squads - 4 starters back on OL

Red Raiders return QB Harrell and a few other skill guys but lose everyone outside of LT Vasquez Jr on the OL - only 2 of the front 7 return for the Raiders D -

Granted the 'Stangs front 4 on D will be making their 1st collegiate starts today, but so will the guys standing across from them - SMU returns all 3 LB's and both corners so they may have a shot at slowing down the TT passing game - veteran front on SMU OL a potential strength vs weakness matchup with TT inexperienced front 7

Definitely playing SMU + and on the ML, but will monitor line movement as I have to assume 10 may be available before kickoff

Also, know that I'm in the majority but I feel like father gets son tonight in Death Valley - any change to FSU's offensive coaching staff is a positive one IMO by default - 2 new Tiger CB's will struggle with athletic WR's Fagg and Carr Jr as the loss of 1st rd pick Adams will affect Clem's pass rush

Playing:

5 units FSU -3

Will be back with #'s on SMU

And as always, gl no matter which schools you back
