Fresno has their SB next week vs Boise - this is SJSt's SB - at 6-5 a win would basically guarantee bowl game

QUOTE TO NOTE: ?There?s a lot of things we want a lot, but there?s nothing we want more than beating Fresno State.??San Jose State coach Dick Tomey

I'm sorry, but that's a lot of points - huge rivalry game and potential Big 10 Ch implications tells me that's too many points in this one

Can Sparty shit the bed and get blown out? Sure - can they win the game straight up? I think so - they had an extra week to prepare for this one and the Lions have not been the same since qb Clark's concussion imo - he turned the ball over 3 more times lw and that will not get it done this week - understand the # looks odd, and that MSU will likely be a huge public dog, but willing to go down with the ship if things go wrong

Thanks AR -

Have heard many arguments for and against buying points, and while it can be a bad idea if you get out of hand with it, I can tell you it has probably meant a difference this year for me of somewhere b/t one and two dimes in CFB alone - kind of a luxury to buy to a number like 7.5 and normally I like to buy up to key #'s as opposed to a buy up to a # like 7.5, but sometimes it just feels like a good idea and last night was one of those times - from the looks of it I wasn't the only one on the board who played it that way last night

Continued success to you as well -

Line move in Starkville as the Hogs line is down to -1

Adding:

1 unit Ark ML -120

Going to make this my 1st 4 unit play of the year - from Petrino's mouth Ark is the healthiest it has been all season - while MSU was getting pounded by Bama the Razorbacks had the week off to heal up physically and mentally and are headed into what amounts to a 2 game playoff to earn a bowl bid - Ark has been an improving team all year long while State seems like they may have peaked last year under Croom - at 3-7 Bulldogs don't have much to play for today and the only hopes in doing anything right this season may lie in next week's Egg Bowl against in-state foe Ole Miss - I give the coaching edge to Ark in this one too as you may not like Petrino as a person but indications are that he is a pretty damn good CFB coach

Bottom line here is that we have a fresh team with something to play for against a banged up team who may not really care that much about this game - Petrino also trying to lay a foundation for the future and setting up a game that could mean bowl eligibility next week against LSU would help do just that
