Wow - as big an ass whooping as I've taken in some time in one week of foots - undeterred I move on................

Lots to like about CINN tonight IMO / 8 starters back on both sides of the ball (QB Grutza replaced by Mauk) and the addition of Kelly to help spark the O / D was solid LY as was the HF advantage, as the 'Cats lost only once following the opener to Pitt / Remember this team blew the wheels off of Rutgers LY at home 30-11

Long trip for OSU, and the Beavs are just 1-5 in their last 6 road openers, including LY's 42-14 blowout loss in Boise

Think the Bearcats can hang with Oregon State physically, and HC Kelly gets a "showcase" win for his program tonight on national tv

Playing:

6.9 units CINN ML +145 (to win 10)

GL to all as I'm turning it around

Nice job by Cinn taking full advantage of the Beaver miscues

Tonight:

Thinking here is that RU is going to get off to a fast start due to their O's athletic dominance in comparison to Navy D- not sure that Navy will be able to stop the Knights early, while it may take a while for the Middies to find an offensive rythym - if Rutgers gets a TD in the first 1/4 (which I fully expect them to), it's going to take either a Navy TD or 2 scores to beat me

Playing:

4 units RU 1stq -3.5 -120

GL to all - have a few nice plays for Saturday that will be up when I finish capping

Heading in the right direction

Unleashing my 1st 10 unit play of the year tomorrow along with this one:

Wyoming came out swinging against UVA LW, avenging LY's 13-12 defeat to the Cavs - have a big one on deck next week against Boise - Cowboys had a chance late LY against the Broncos before falling 17-10 - pretty big sandwich situation for Wyoming as Utah St showed they could compete against the MWC LW vs UNLV - Aggies return all 11 on D and the improvement showed - total in this one is 41 and I expect a low scoring affair - early start will add to the possibility of the Cowboys simply going through the motions in this one IMO

7 units Utah St +24.5

Really impressed with the Huskies LW in their demolition of the Cuse - Locker looks like the REAL DEAL and Rankin was impressive as well - both the O and D lines looked solid too - UW has a really tough schedule and this game becomes very important, even this early, in terms of bowl eligibility

Hard not to like what BSU has done the past few years, culminating in the big win LY over OU, but I don't think this year's squad should be running around as a favorite against what may very well be an upper tier PAC 10 team this year - RB Johnson back but Boise must replace 6 starters on O - defense returns 6 but returns only 3 of 7 in the defensive front, which may be a big problem against the multi-faceted Husky rushing attack

Wrong team favored here IMO - Joe Pub is obviously enthralled with Boise and will most likely write off the UW performance as meaningless due to the competition - Huskies need this one though with Ohio State, UCLA and USC waiting in the wings and I believe they will overpower the Broncos on their way to a SU win

10 units UW ML +130

Have a million and a half leans this week and having a hard time narrowing down the rest - will most likely be back Sat morning with a few

Until then, good luck no matter which sides you choose

I believe that you're on the right side of that
Wash/Boise game.....I follow the Pac-10 and
I'll tell you what, amongst all the great athletes
at the D-1 level, Locker is just a F'n stud....
bigtime gamer.

Aggies in the bag and Huskies looking good - on to tonight........

Sly Croom a road fave? Not on my watch

Also, not sure the Golden Flashes are going to get the Wildcats' full attention

Wasn't sold on the Red Raiders as a dominant team lw - UTEP an upgrade from SMU

Way too much hype surrounding UH going into '07

playing - 2 units each:

Tulane +7.5 -150
Tulane ML +195
Utep + 24.5
LA Tech +28.5 -120

Off to an early dinner and then to watch the Tigers eat up the Hokies - gl to all MJ'ers and I'll see you tom in the NFL forum

Sat +14.6 units / CFB YTD -15.2 units

That's more like it - got almost 30 units back after the hideous start - will be back next week to move it into the black and, as they say, never go back

GL until then
