Astros -220 *** W

Astros rested a lot of starters yesterday and have their Ace going vs a very spotty Glendon Rusch. Can't see any decent team losing 2 straight to the Brew Crew

Cubs -120 **** W

Seems like a funny line to me, Benson and Clement are not that different in terms of stuff and ability to keep their team in a game. Both teams have average to above average pens. But the Cubs have a NASTY lineup and the Pirates do not...No Giles, No Chance...even the Mets won 2 of 3 in Pitt

Cincy +130 * PPD

Expos should be wishing for the Mets to come back to town soon, unfortunately they get a pissed off Reds team that just got embarrassed in Chicago...Bombs away for Kearns and Dunn

Braves u 8 ** L

Wolfy/Maddux enough said....factor in an injured Chipper, Burrell who can't hit his weight and you suddenly rely on Sheff, Thome and Abreu to come up with 8 runs vs 2 top starters....ummm..under 8

Astros o 8 **** W

The 9th inning of last nights game is just a precursor of things to come for the Brewers tonight, expect no less than 7 from the Astros, Brewers will get a few off of Oswalt with Jenkins and Sexson swinging well....a good hitters park for the most part

Boston 0 9.5 *** W

A basketball player vs a knuckleballer and 2 teams with no bullpen...I'd take the over if it was 15

best of luck and remember the bet you don't place hits 100% of the time...or it seems that way

Record

**** 7-4
*** 8-4
** 3-4
* 4-1

Overall 20-13

+ 18 *'s

Since the Reds were cancelled I'm adding

Yanks -150 ** W

The Twins simply figured out a way to beat this team and common sense says, well Radke is their ace and give them their best chance....but how many losing streaks have been ended vs the Rocket in his brilliant career?? Not too many, Twins will get a game this series, but not tonight...Yanks continue to pound the baseball as Matsui invades the Baggy in right..........

Having a solid night thus far, so we're going to add a few more to coast into the weekend

Dodgers -110 *** L

Giants have to lose a road game eventually and Tim Worrell is due to get touched up. Dodgers should be high on emotion after last night's thrilling victory and Brown should improve from his last start vs the G-Men in a tight battle...as always in the west
