Thunder, for the first time in a long while I disagree with one of your big picks. Steelers +3 for a little. I wasn't impressed with Denvers O or D last week. They needed several bone head plays by NE to help them win(I'm not taking anything away from their win but there's a big difference in how they won and how pitt won). Pitt took it to Indi on both sides of the field.

But more than anything I think Pitt is rolling right now. After hitting a few bumps in the road they have now hit their stride.

Ben is young but in this situation he has as much experience as Jake. There's no way I would risk a big play on Jake's back. Just my opion, good luck with your play.

Pitt 31-Denver 24

Well if you do you homework and look at both games.........you will notice........

10/31........pitt won 20-19 but Ben was hobbled by injury and had no mobility........so in my opinion throw that game out.........

11/31........pitt lost but Ben was out for the game so this is another result that I put an ? by because of QB injury.........

I agree Thunder, Denver has won consistently as well buttttttttt...... I look at their wins and besides NE(which in my opinion they didn't look good) they really haven't beaten anyone I'm impressed with. SD was a gimmee because their season was over, OAK BUFF and BALT are all jokes and games they should have won. Pitt beat a good Chicago team, won at Minny when Minny was HOT and then won at Cinci and Indi which you have to agree are both quality wins.

The only game Denver has been outrushed in the past 6 games was against KC and they lost. No other team they faced even had a chance of outrushing them besides maybe SD(and again that game was a throw away). Pitt hasn't been outrushed in its last 6 games, not even close to being outrushed.

I'm not saying pitt is a lock, but you put a big play on Denv and I don't think they merit a big play.
Good luck to you.

Thunder, I hope you know I meant no disrespect by coming into your thread and posting. I think I was just shocked to see you put such a big play on Denv. Love you picks man, keep up the good work.

Denver will be ready. As far as their schedule look what division they are in, every team in that division has playoff potential every year. Also, no six seed has ever made the super bowl.

I think everyone is looking at the yardage Denver gave up last week but what often happens when a team gets a big lead they tend to go conservative and thats what they did. Pittsburgh has played two suspect defenses in the playoffs. That Indy team played a soft schedule and had problems with 3-4 defenses. This will be the third week in a row they are facing a 3-4 and that will help them out considerably. Weaknesses of the Steelers corners will be exposed. Rod Smith will have a huge day. Cinncy had plenty of opportunities in the passing game. Pittsburgh was too busy still talking about last weeks game. And yes the Denver offensive line is better than the Steelers offensive line. Good luck on your Denver play. Leaning to your Carolina play but that defense looked awfully tired last week as a Bear team with not a lot of weapons scored 21.

The only problem is Denver was giving up yardage when the score was 3-0 ne........7-3 den.......10-3 den........10-6 den.......NENG was moving the ball all night........now if you call being up 10-6 a big lead then I guess you are right........

Thunder, I'm with you on Denver. The Public is all over Pitt and dropped the line to -3. It's next to impossible to win 3 straight on the road in the NFL, especially against 3 of the top 6 in the conference.

Stat: These road teams in the playoffs are a startling 0-20 ATS and SU since 1984 and failing to cover the spread by over 11 pts per game.

This game will be close, bc you just can't count out the physical play of the Steelers, but I think the thin air and travel will be the demise of the Steelers in the 4th quarter. And oh by the way, Denver does have a top 5 Rush D and IF they can hold Parker and Jerome in check, THEN I agree with Thunder and Denver's corners may make a pick or 2 against a pressing BIG BEN.

GL Thunder!!
