Ok here is what I think

Michigan has been great

They have great players

They have a good coach

But

Louisville has been better

Louisville has better players

Louisville has a great coach

Add in the public is in love with this michigan run, and I think its a perfect recipe for a louisville win

I don't think michigan will be able to break the press with a ton of success. Florida tried to press and michigan went nuts hitting shot after shot.

I don't see that happening this time. Louisville is literally the best team at running this full court press, and it cannot be duplicated.

Think michigan hangs early, but louisville pulls away

Little expensive, butttt forget the 4, just win lville!

I know many would say michigan has better players

They may have the best player, and a group of 3 that are great, but overally top to bottom I think lville is the better roster.

Even without ware.

I am playing the ML too with U of L, and will dabble small on the over thinking that if Michigan were to win it means they would be hitting a lot of 3's breaking press.

Good luck to us. Hope you are well.

Why do you think the public is on Mich bro? Do you know what the %'s are?

I bet Louisville to win it all 2 weeks ago in Vegas when I watched them beat Col St. I said, these are men playing against boys. They ALL can shoot well. I think they had a bad shooting game in the last tilt, but that won't happen again. I also think Mich can fill it up. Might look at the Over as well...

Thanks! LTD

I don't really get what the public's love with Michigan (does that even exist?) has to do with what will happen on the floor tonight.

What does Michigan do best? Break the press and beat teams that apply pressure to them.... see the obliteration of both Florida and VCU. You beat Mich by slowing them down and making them beat you in the halfcourt. This is how Cuse shut down Burke. If you free him up and let him in the open court, he is lethal.

I also definitely don't think Ville has the better players.

I think laying almost 2 to 1 in this game is way too high. If these teams played over and over and you had to lay 2-1, i think you would go broke quickly.

Of course, this is only 1 game, and you may very well be right. Just giving my 2 cents.

Ville has had pretty much a cake walk to this game. Michigan is battle tested. Loss of Ware showed in the Wichita game, and I think it does again here. The Ville game is based on speed, and those guys looked a bit gassed. Smith is a hot head and has some choking in his blood.

I trust Michigan's shooters to bail out the stars much more than I trust Louisville's to do it again.

Exactly! Plus the fact that when Ware went down the number one public story sentimentally was clearly UL has to win this for him!

I suppose the current run by michigan doesn't have anything to do with the game tonite.

But yes love for michigan, it does exist. Watching espn and listening to radio all day and they all have had previous "fab 5" interviews and talkin about trey burke and hardaway being nba players and honestly have heard/seen little lville talk.

And I think michigan has the best player...

Better roster? Not a chance IMO but that's what makes it fun we can all have a opinion.

I think ville hasn't played nearly the caliber opponents mich has....agree....but they will be ready....pitino isn't gonna let em sleep thru the 1st half....

Hey hopefully lville wins by 1 and we both win...

I tend to agree but Michigan has surprised me since round 3. My situation is I win about $100 if Ville wins straight up in a Sweet 16 pool. If I play the game later it may be for a middle though.

Good luck.

According to Scores and Odd "Betting Trends," 65% of the money is on Michigan and 45% is on Louisville. I would think that makes Michigan the public favorite...At least according to that site.

I'm seeing 52% on Louisville and they are the sentimental pick. Also line back up to 4. Think Louisville is picking up late steam by the public.

i put $ on Mich to win the title before the sweet 16 and $ on Mich over Ville before the semifinals this weekend..

i couldnt decide who to back so decided to hedge and count my money either way.

I tend to lean Ville, but dont have a strong opinion. not helpful i know, but hoping for an exciting game.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I have Louisville to win in 1 vice bracket, tonight I think Michigan wins it. Just a gut feeling. I put a decent play on em ml to hedge but if Ville wins and do not cover, I will win a nice chunk. Cause I parlayed the hell out Of em plus the points with every ml dog. Those parlays were all free plays to join baseball contest

Michigan has had a great run to get her past few weeks

But prior to this, not really much big game experience with such a young squad

Louisville guys have had plenty over past few years

Think the bright lights won't change louisville mentality much

Anxious to see how mich comes out of the gate...

Agree with most points as I thought louis would open at -2. But talk about choking Mich has choked numerous times at the ft line all year, hasn't cost them the game but made games more interesting than they should be. Burke has sucked all tournament and don't see that changing against the quickest team in college. Hardaway is as overrated as aaron craft.
4 of mich players will be drafted and 1 of Louisville but
I'm still laying the 3.5 just don't trust this mich team.
