Wisconsin +7/+225

Putting this one in now. Seems like they should not even play the game since everyone is discussing who gets in between Ohio State and Alabama. I love it when this happens. I think Wisky's defense shuts down Ohio State and a turnover or two gets them the win. The conspiracy theorist in me says Ohio State may get the calls since I think the NCAA likes the controversy, but my money is on the better team.

Will post a couple more dog plays I like soon.

Thanks EJ!

Stanford+4/+160 - Also played this today as I like the 4. Love Stanford as a dog and they have dominated this series. Yes, they lost earlier in the year, but I think it plays into their favor. You can argue that the bye week helped USC, but I think bye weeks can also be a negative in college ball unlike the NFL.

Dog number 3 will be coming but I am waiting for the line to move a little more in my favor.

:0corn Been saying this to co-workers all week. Not many teams play the dog role much better than we do. I'm on both as well, happy to see you on them.

As much as I hate to admit it.....I agree

Although I'd rather spend a weekend at my mother-in-laws than see Wiskey in the playoff.......Sorry

Have to admit that I have never been a big fan of Wisky either (especially when that idiot Bilema was there), but I really like the way they are playing now. I love old school football: play defense, get turnovers, and make no mistakes on offense. If they had a better QB they would be my favorite to win it all.

Dog 3 - I was going to wait and I still think the line may go up a little but I am putting this in now.

Georgia +3 -120/+115 - This is simply a line play for me. Auburn completely dominated Georgia in the first meeting and now we get a rematch with a line of only 2.5. I honestly would have pegged this line at -7. I loved the way Auburn played last week as they simply outplayed and outcoached Alabama. On paper they should win this game in the same fashion as before, but the line is telling me something different here so I will bite.

I will tie all three dogs together in a ML parlay for a 17-1 payout.

I think I will stick to these three plays. I could be talked into Memphis+ and Miami+ also. Boise game could be a line play also. They just lost as 7 point favs and now are 8.5 favorites. I could see them covering this game.

I have Wisky at 5-1 to win the big 10 from the preseason. Hope you're right, because I'm not sure I want to hedge at the steep ML odds on the Buckeyes.

Here's the thing.....they've had the same type (YAWN) QB the last 20 years... as dynamic on offense as a cheese sandwich, real ho-hum........

Not many people in Madison were big fans of Beilema either.

I stand corrected, yes Wilson was somewhat dynamic in Madison as a mercenary.

Bielma was a jackass, and got what he asked for..... Poetic in many ways....Do you think Barry was smirking just a little after the mess in Arkansas?

Certainly Wilson upped his game to be one of the more creative QBs in the NFL

I guess my point is, should they get down 2 scores early tomorrow, comin back will be an issue.

They are sound enough defensively it would seem, and again I don't want to piss anyone off here, but who have they played to test that "D"?

Don't take it personally, I'm a North Jersey Smart Ass, its an attitude indigenous to the region. I respect your opinion.

As always, Good Luck

Nothing personal, lot of good info and other ways of thinking on this site, that's why it's the best. Nobody will argue that the non conference schedule was on the week side. But conference play is conference play, it's hard going undefeated. I'm not convinced the East is that much better than the West like people think. Northwestern beat Michigan St, Iowa trucked tOSU, Bucky beat Michigan. With that being said, this is the fastest, most physical D we've had. It's just my opinion they are legit snd will keep us in any game. IF, big IF, our offense....Hornibrook in particular, doesn't turn the ball over, we have a good shot. O-line are all underclassmen, but all have 2-3yrs experience together. Either way, I'm expecting a good game. GL to you as well.:toast:

Kerryon Johnson is doubtful for the game. We'll know on the first series if he's in or not but it's not sounding likely. Kam Martin is still a very good RB to put out there just not quite as good as KJ. Malik Miller is gonna be the backup and he's got good potential. Still gonna hurt on offense and Stidham is gonna need to keep his hot streak going.

Defense is still gonna take UGA to the woodshed though :popcorn2

Good stuff guys. I have some doubts about Wisconsin but I also do not believe Ohio State is as good as everyone thinks. I may be nuts, but I think they have a better shot with Haskins at QB. He is a much better passer than Barrett and Wisky will shut down the run game. I am expecting Haskins to play. Really wanted him to go to Maryland. He is the real deal. If Wisconsin does not turn the ball over I expect them to win by a TD.

Lankford, I agree that Auburn should man handle them upfront, but this line is now down to 1.5 which I am struggling to understand. Worried now that folks are piling in since they think it is a home game for GA. Sticking to my guns though.

Been digging into the TCU/Oklahoma game and I am starting to like TCU. They got railroaded in the first half of the first game and then recovered to shut OK out in the second half. I think we see the second half TCU defense for the whole game. Just worry about their offense, but OK's defense is not good. This is going to be a tight game. Plus, I can not stand Mayfield at all. He is an ass. Another Johnny Football.

So, putting in this teaser, which I know most of you hate, for shits and giggles.

Stanford +11
Wisconsin +13
Georgia +8.5
Troy +7
Memphis +14
TCU +14

Stanford have not impressed me very much this year. I didn't see anything to worry about last week and USC has the badly needed bye to rest up and prep.

I can see USC overwhelming them offensively and putting up a big score.

USC -4 and the over 58.5 look good.

Stanford gets the cover, but not the outright win. Will take it though, one in the book.

Liking the lines I got earlier in the week now that Wisky is down to 5 and GA is a PK. Really surprised by that line movement in the Georgia game. Still expecting a lot of late Auburn money, but 2.5 to a Pk is a real move.

Making some early soccer money, so I put in a couple ML pars this morning, an early long shot with TCU/Memphis and another one with Wisky/GA since Stanford did not get the outright win. I love to play ML pars in college.

and he was a total fool to leave for Arkansas.
Yeah, all that cash he got for leaving was nice, and Arky owes him a back full of it--but I hope he enjoys his new gig as a defensive coordinator at some backwater school like louisiana-lafeyette :142smilie
