well, had a good year overall in college hoops. another sport with money made this year. didnt make much, but as long as im not losin im ok with it:0074 .

had a very profitable tourny until saturday. hit a couple huge posted plays, and was sitting around 17-7 ats. unfortunantly, i played butler small and kentucky HUGEHUGEHUGE and not the other way around. gave back a nice chunk on that game. oh well like i said not down money and still around to gamble tonites game so cant complain.

As far as tonite, i have this game even as can be on paper. I am tired of hearing people talk about Butler as if they still dont belong. I really think butler is just as good as any big conference team, and anyone who argues after this point I dunno what too tell ya. Butler loves being in the underdog role, and no doubt about it that brad stevens will have his guys ready to play. I know calhoun and co. will be just as prepared, but butler is for real. Mack and howard are two of the most underappreciated guys in the game, and no doubt in my mind they will both show up big tonite. They may not drop 25+, but their hustle, leadership, and poise will speak volumes of the players they are. Uconn may be the more athletic team, but butler makes up for that in so many other areas. That is why I am playing butler. Like I said, I have it pretty even with stats and numbers, but when I go to all the other areas, I think butler has the advantage.

The only thing that makes me nervous is the fact that Uconn has one guy in particular who is killing people right now. He is makin teams look like one armed droopy children too quote the great charlie sheen. He will do what he does and score 18-25, but Butler will be prepared for it and make sure they slow down the other guys in huskie uniforms. I honestlly think this is going to be an amazing game. Will come down to the final seconds, and team to have it last will win.

If uconn wins by 20, i will be the first to come here and admit how completley wrong I was, but I cannot see Butler losing a game by a large margin.

PEOPLE TAKE THE POINTS AND ENJOY THE GAME.

It has been a great season, and I cannot thank most of the people on this site. There is a handful who are not included, but everyone else on this site seems to be a stand up dude, and I love reading other opinions. Hope everyone has a profitable night and enjoys the game responsibly!!:toast:

I am in JR11s square poll, and I need winners 7 losers 4, so how about the following:

HALFTIME 37-34

FINAL 77-74 BUTLER

GL my fellow Phins Fan...

This one's tough for me. Honestly not concerned about Kemba as much he will get his. More worried about Lamb and his length on the perimeter and how Butler handles UCONN's big men. Okwandu is a beast off the bench. Hopefully Smith and Howard stay out of foul trobule.

UCONN also shoots free throws extremely well at 76%. Then the whole last hurrah angle for Calhoun if you buy in to that. Still Butler can play with anyone and the get after it defensively in the half court better than anyone in the country.
Mack, Howard are legit college stars and Vanzant is the X factor for them on offense.

So inclined to put my $$$ on Butler but still not sure...line is at 3 at my book right now...
