I wish it would become a technical foul to scream, "AND ONE!" after you shoot. Does anyone else find that annoying?

What are you supposed to yell? "FOUL" ?

I think you should focus your rule changes elsewhere, this one is not happening.....

You aren't supposed to yell anything. Yelling should be reserved for telling your teammates about a screener or other intra-team communication. I'm okay with a yell of excitement after a big play, too. It should not be used to tell the officials how to do their jobs.

I don't know anything about either one of those teams, so I can't really offer an opinion.

great rule change idea

how about something to get rid of each team having 4-5 timeouts to use in the last 90 seconds

why does it take (in real time) 100 mins to play 36 mins then (in real time) 30 mins to play the last 4 mins

2 timeout each team the last 2 mins.....use it or lose it

also, get rid of all the worthless foul-free throw parade in college hoops

it's basketball for 39 mins then its a ft/foul farce for 1 min......not even the same game

I totally agree about the timeouts. Also, when exactly did a 30 second timeout become over a minute long. I guess I am getting old."I can remember when a 30-second timeout was 30 seconds."

As far as the fouling at the end, what can you really do about that?

well

no ft until foul 7 = 1-1
no 2 ft until foul 10 = 2 shots

how about

after foul 12-13 or 3rd in last min......team gets choice of ball or ft's

didn't they experiment with a rule change about 10 years ago that was similar to your suggestion? However, I think it was they got the FT's and ball. It was suppose to encourage teams to play D in games trying to catch up as oppose to the fouling and extending the game.

they could just shorten the shot clock...which i think they are doing next year possible.....from 35-30......which i think is an effort to get more scoring but might actually end some of the end of game bs that happens in college hoops

they could add-in some sort of point to time left rule to eliminate the real bs that takes place with teams fouling down 10 with 15-20-30 seconds left where a team up 10 with 30 or 45 seconds left gets the option of ft or ball out of bounds.....

these college teams just never seem to accept defeat

Has anyone considered the NBA dictates all this crap to the NCAA so the dimwits will make the transition to pro ball ?

Just a possibility :0003

I agree. Doing whatever you can to win seems ridiculous. If you're down a few points with 15 seconds left, just let them dribble the clock out for God's sake!

actually..it's the we can still win attitude of dipshits down double digits with 30 seconds left who continue to foul that drives most people nuts (but johnny high schooler) AND ruins the game.
