he was a fave of mine......old character actor playing the gruff detective,mobster or advisor......
I remember him from scarface,jagged edge,the believers,smila`s sense of snow and an old horror comedy with sexy little French actress annie parillaud called "innocent blood"...and an old series he did when I was a kid called "t.h.e. cat"........along with a million t.v. shows during the 60`s,70,s and 80`s and 90`s....
he was always solid....we`re heading into a time when the last of the great old actors are dying off(I think gene Hackman is is in his middle eighties).....
