One of the things that has been overlooked is that San Diego has been improving as the season has progressed. I saw every Charger game this year and (don't laugh) but they could have gone 15-1. The only game they didn't have a shot in the fourth quarter was against Denver in Denver. The loss against the Jets was the second game of the season when they were trying out new people in the secondary and was only their second game using the 3-4 scheme. On the offensive side, I really like what offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has done with the offensive, plus he gets WR McCardell back which should boost the offense.
Sounds like we'll definitly get some showers for game time which in my opinion favors the Chargers because it helps their biggest weakness, the secondary. The Jets usually don't throw the ball long and with the rain and what seems to be some nagging shoulder problems for Pennington I think they will try to dump a lot of short passes which should help the Chargers D cause they are very fast on D. Heck, even without any weather issues he couldn't even hit a lot of the short passes last week.
I dont like the way the Jets come into the playoffs, having lost 3 of the last 4. Having their only win in the last four games to a Seattle team that has no business being in the playoffs. If the Chargers can minimize turnovers they should get the win by 10+.
