I'm not sure that Benjamin is up to the task, although he was the leader in targets today. His YPC left something to be desired with 7 catches for 32 yards. Benjamin was signed to be more of slot/Y receiver, so not the position Allen plays. If you're looking for the downfield threat to replace Allen, it's probably Tyrell Williams. It's interesting that Rivers didn't mention Dontrelle Inman, who is listed as the X receiver behind Allen on the depth chart. He had a few big games for the Chargers last year when Allen was lost for the season, although he's a long shot to be any kind of factor fantasy-wise. One thing to consider is that he's in his 3rd year in the NFL, which is typically when some of these young WRs break out. Keep in mind that Inman is 27 years old and started his pro career in the Canadian league before signing with the Chargers in 2014.
