I get that. I think Chauvin's punishment was a bit harsh. The problem I have is that even the bystanders knew the guy was dead, and Chauvin never released the hold, NEVER checked for Vitals, and never rendered first aid of any kind. He is taught first aid and has to have a refresher every two years. His actions were callous.
