thats Willingham up there on the choke cord, Weiss has the exact same record at this point and will be granted the gift to try a little harder. ND hasnt gotten it right since Old Lou rode off. and I LOVE IT!!:mj07:

If they fire him they will have to pay him 18 million dollars.
A new quality coach would want at least 3 -5 mill a year to come to Notre Dame X 3 yrs= 12-15 mill
Add all that up and it comes to 30-33 million dollars to get rid of old Charlie
I say he stays
Lou Holtz left because they tightened up the education requirements for players - no dummies
There is no need to get rid of any coach until they get rid of thier requirements of the players. = THen thay will get Urban Meyer

Good point, but i think they could get boosters involved. Restrictions hurt agreed, but its not like they have ZERO talent OR like they even play a TOUGH SCHEDULE...Weiss has a bit to do with it as well as the others did/do

Right on the money. You know your stuff. Urban woulda been there in a heartbeat b4 Charlie got the job if they would of allowed him to get a few extra kids in who didn't really meet the academic requirments
