I have been watching the playoffs pretty close the last month or so and I can not remember a game when chauncy billups had more than 4 or 5 assists in 1 game.

there are a couple of props that have him matched up against gary payton on assists. this should not even be close especially game 1. the lakers should dominate game 1 at home and payton should have 8 or 9 assists and i can not see billups dishing out more than 5.

they also have a prop for billups of over/under 27 on him with points and assists. I would thinjk you would have to play the under on this one as payton will try to lock him down. i just do not see billups throwing up 20 pts and 7 assists. i may be a crazy but this should be a VERY BIG PLAY FOR ALL OF US.

Please any thoughts would be great. thanks guys.

I've been looking at this prop. First, my book has the number at 24.5. Second, i don't have the numbers in front of me now, but I checked out the 2 games the teams played against each other this year and Billips was high scorer in both and avgd about 24 pts each game. I was looking to go over 24.5 on this prop.

I checked this out further and the stats are:
1st game Billups had 29 pts, 5 assts and 3 reb =36

2nd game Billups had 24 pts, 8 assts and 4 rep =36

To me this looks like a great over play.

My book is CATALINA SPORTS. They have it at 24.5.

carib has it at 19.5

Carib's number does not include rebounds. Catalina's number includes rebounds. I guess they are figuring the rebounds at 5 which is a little high. Carib's number of 19.5 without rebounds might be a little better. I've already made a strong bet on Over 24.5. In fact after I made the bet the line went from -105 to -120. My bet wasn't that big to move the line so much, there must be other action on it.

The main reason I like this play is that Hamilton was shut down the first two games. He probably has Bryant guarding him. Therefore Billips became the scorer.
