It's funny to me that people are so surprised by this. As if people who don't look a certain way or aren't trendy, can't have talent. I guess it's a bigger deal in the entertainment/music industry. We see it all the time in sports......for example

Now I'm just curious who performed after her. If I was to bet, I'd say NO, NO, NO to the next person no matter what. After listening to Susan, the next performer was just doomed to be sent home.
