Now we here a very high chance this dude works undercover with Iran. This persons info is 60% or maybe more of why were throwing money down the Iraq chit hole. Most all his info to date has been FALSE. Man we got some real dead beats in this administration. Of course Bush could have asked more then them.
Maybe Powell will still be the one that has honor shinning on him when this is all over.
Now mind you they have not formally charge him with anything. But the Iraq government not us was getting ready to charge him as a spy. Let see if it happens. Or we get a cover up to keep folks looking better. We were only paying him 400000 grand a year. Wonder what he gets from Iran. To think he was one of the contenders to run the ship for us so we could leave.
I was wrong about the 400000 grand. How about 30 mill.

well, write this one down...i agree wholeheartedly with you on this one....

the administration made no bones about putting alot of faith....alot of political capital on chalabi......from what i`ve read, some of the wmd info supposedly came from chalabi sources....now,he`s passing info on to the iranians....info that could prove harmful or even deadly to americans....

it looks as though this guy turns out to be a scam artist.....and a traiiterous one at that ...out to further his own political ambitions......he has a shady track record, from what i`ve read on him....was sentenced to 22 years in absentia in jordan for humongous banking and debt fraud...

some serious egg on the administrations collective faces...

i agree with you.....a huge faux pas.....

they deserve to take some serious heat....

how could they trust this s.o.b.?.....

djv,

At those levels it's hard to know what to believe and what not to believe, and I certainly don't trust any of em. One thing I do believe is that our govt wouldn't trust that stooge with any pertinent info that could harm us.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw the story was that it was all a dog and pony show to make this joker more appealing to the anti American crowd in that area......if this guy does wind up being "top dog", then I'm pretty certain that was the case.
Sure the story may be on the up and up...and in that case it'll be interesting to see what his future role will be in Iraq.

Chalabie aka American puppet aka next generation Sadam Hussein. You see boys and girls, when a country (USA) wants to oust a leader of another country (Iraq), it will always be able to find either dissidents or a leader of the opposition to support no matter how evil and/or unrepresentative he or she is.

Examples include Viet Nam, Guatamala, Cuba, etc. Our wonderful country backs opposition leaders not for bs humanitarian or wmd reasons but, only out of self interest. For that reason, I continue to laught at all the flag waving morons on this board.

while what eddie says is true

while what eddie says is true

it is no different than france, germany and russia blocking any action against saddam.....not because of altruistic reasons...but because of sweetheart oil deals....sheer economics....

don`t make it sound like it`s unique to this country, hand wringing america hater.......

i would EXPECT our country to act in it`s self interest......times change....allies become enemies....it`s part of world politics....

the humanitarian stuff is fine...as long as it`s not an impediment to american interests.....

as far as chalabi goes, you guys are absolutely right....the administration had to know the type of character they were dealing with......and deserve whatever repercussions come their way....

it seems to me that finding an ally in this miserable place that you can trust....that has nothing more than iraq`s best interests as their goal,is like getting jayson williams to do some well deserved hard time for killing a man and attempting a cover up.....

but,as one of the juror`s said...."the minute i saw him,i knew he wasn`t a killer".....

love those jurors...just the facts m`am.....lol...

This has a chance at getting real good. Maybe we should have the CIA take him out for all the lies he used to get us into war.
Wait his best Bud is Cheney so keep him alive just alittle longer.
