small play against the bruins...

bos. is playing b2b,3/4,and 5/7 including big wins against n.y.i. and wash.

possible to see a let down by bruins.

but its possible to see bruins put a foot in their moon1

bostons next games are in ott. on tuesday and thursday at home against new jersey.(maybe their looking ahead)

we'll see how the blackhawks play now that fluery is gone.

taking a chance with chi. ml 105 to win 100

good luck to all:D

RC - You have some good points about how much hockey the B's have played lately & fatigue is definitely a factor today. The key eastern conf wins are valid also.

But I have to disagree with you about looking forward to any future games. The Hawks are limping down the stretch and Boston will never catch Ottawa or NJ Devils so I would think they will suck it up and go for it today against a weaker team to get the 2 points now and keep the Ranger / Canadien playoff hopes dim.

It's definitely a pass for me as I have difficulty betting against my team and I'd have a hard time betting a team that has one only 1 game in it's last 10 or 11 games.

Good luck with your picks

mugs, you make some great points as well, especially about how lousy the 'hawks have been playing. I'm really counting on the bruins handing this one to the 'hawks with some tired play (bad penalties, bad passes, missing opportunities,etc....).

you passing on this game makes me feel better than you betting on the bruins(i think horns is taking boston:eek: )

btw-i was born in boston and have been a fan for many years of the bruins. I've watched the bruins lose to edmonton two years out of three in the finals:mad: and i've watch them trade almost all their talent, making it seem like the owners don't care about winning. Well I don't need to tell you about that. I'm sure you know a lot more about the bruins than I do(and their frustrating history). good luck to you and thx for the info,I really appreciate it.

first round upset boston upests ottawa 4-2:D

That '87-'88 team coached by O'Reilly was a fun team to watch with all those goons...Jay Miller, Lyndon Byers, Willi Plett. Even Billy O'Dwyer and Cam Neely would drop the mittens too. They never stood a chance vs. the Oil Cans in the Finals. I think their Stanley Cup was finally beating Montreal in the 2nd round. That Devils series was a trip too.

The '89-'90 squad should have done better in the Finals. Bill Ranford came back to haunt them and loosing Game 1 in 3OT killed them. Petr Klima goes 5 hole on Andy Moog

The best thing to happen to them would be to have that (explictive deleted) owner in Buffalo sell the team. I can scrape up a few thousand...Wanna go in with me on an offer
