Almost as much fun as reading the Tribune after the election last week.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Thanks, IE.

I've read more than a few things today about the game, but that article was the most entertaining, yet.

"So what are they doing well? Practicing, apparently." :mj07:

"If Virginia McCaskey sent me a telegram asking for my advice on how to fix the Chicago Bears, this is what I'd write back to her: Fire everyone you can. Cut the rest. Sell the team." :s1:

"Here's an idea. Maybe they could televise those practices instead of the games. Because I can't imagine any Bears fan wants to watch any more of this garbage." :s2:

I wish I was there to listen today. I sure miss those days after a loss. Would have liked to have seen Dan Hampton on TV after the game last night. He had to be going nuts.

Cutler contract

Cutler contract

Signed Jan 2 2014......7 year 126 million, 54 guaranteed....

Think if I was Bear fan, I would find a new team to root for.

True story, my friend Mike C married Ann McCaskey (Halas grand- daughter) back in early 80s.
Still married as far as I know, I lost touch with Mike 6 years ago.
Their wedding gift (if I remember correctly) was a wonderful home along with a half percent ownership of the team. (he can only sell to a family member) They as owners went to a game a year anywhere all expenses and owner box seat paid for.

I figure team is worth 2 billion half percent is 10 million....way to go Mike.:0008

They can opt out in 2 years. That's like saying the Packers are going to keep Peppers for that 20 million or whatever its suppose to be for next year
