We will be playing the Over again this afternoon as the Chicago White Sox complete their three game set at Seattle.

The White Sox have won 13 of their last 15 and at 58-52 (.527) are one game behind the Royals in the AL Central. The White Sox had been on fire since the All-Star break hitting an AL best .324 including 22 homers prior to last night's 10-0 loss to Seattle. They had shown excellent consistency and offensive production prior to last night's shut-out, scoring 6+ runs in 12 of their 16 games since the break. We will forgive them one bad night and expect the hot bats to return today.

Gil Meche starts for the Sox this afternoon. He is 11-7 with a 3.86 ERA this season and in his last outing snapped a four start losing streak. He has allowed 20 earned runs through the 27 1/3 innings of his last five starts.

The Mariners are 67-43 (.609) and lead the Athletics by four games in the AL West. The Over is 6-1 in Seattle's recent home games with an average of 11.5 runs scored per game. While the Mariners have been a little hot and cold recently in terms of run-scoring we expect them to be able to score some runs again today following last night's effort.

Left-hander Mark Buehrle (9-10, 4.21 ERA) counters for the Mariners today seeking his eighth straight win. He has had excellent run support with Seattle averaging 7 runs per game during his winning streak.

The White Sox last eight games have all played Over while the Mariners are on a 10-4 Over run.

These teams are 13-3-1 Over in their last 17 meetings and we expect the hot-hitting to continue today.

Recommended Play: Over 8.5 -105

Good eyes, butter. He is allowed a few mistakes, tho, as he and IE are as hot as anyone here the past couple of weeks.

Champion purposely mixed the pitchers up to see if you people are actually reading the whole write-up, rather than just skipping to the selection.

Way to keep em' honest, Champ, and another great call!
