Again, do some research.

YOU said Atlanta was an old as dirt team. I did my reasearch, proved you wrong, and let your ignorant ass know that Atlanta was in FACT YOUNGER than the Cubs, and one of the younger teams in baseball.

Yep, typical hypocrite. Ramirez gets hurt and you try to blow it off. Karma's a bitch when your guy gets hurt and you got nothing to say, HAHAHAHAHA. If "I' will wait until September to crow," then why were you chiming in here to let me know about the injuries and the 1-4, or how he didn't get a hit?

Chipper injured, scratched from lineup

By CARROLL ROGERS
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Published on: 05/15/08

Chipper Jones has been scratched from the lineup for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia after tweaking his groin in last night's game.

Jones is leading the majors with a .418 batting average and fourth in home runs with 11. He went 2-for-4 with a homer in Wednesday night's 8-6 victory over the Phillies.

Of course. I choose no sides in this battle. However, this is the first time I've ever done the fantasy baseball thing and Chipper is on my team. I'm enjoying his early success.

Chipper Jones has recurrence of back spasms.

The third baseman's .417 average is the highest in the majors in the past 50 years this deep in a season, and Jones said it was hard not to play when he was going so well.

He said it hurt too much to twist at his midsection in the hitting movement.

"I don't know, it feels like I've got a rib out [of place] or something," said Jones, who missed two games April 26-27 at New York after his back locked up while he was reaching over to pick up something in his locker.:scared

The veteran slugger has endured a variety of injuries in recent seasons, but that was the first time in his career he'd been hobbled by back problems.

He said the latest incident occurred Saturday night at home when he was playing with his children.

Jones said he slept only about one hour and arrived at Turner Field at 8:30 a.m. Sunday (for a 1:10 p.m. game) and received several rounds of treatment.

"It's better now," he said before Sunday's game. "The spasms are gone. But the pain is in more of an isolated spot. I got adjusted three times already today, got a bunch of treatment."

But, he added, "There's still a tremendous amount of pain when I rotate."

Jones had two hits in Saturday's 3-1 win against Arizona and carried a .432 average in his past 32 games with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs, 23 walks and a .516 on-base percentage in that torrid stretch.

"There was a little pain during the game [Saturday]. Then last night I was messing with my kids and it just went out, like in New York. I hope to get work on it all day today and then maybe help out later [in Sunday's game.]"

Is this guy hurt more than a professional wrestler or what ?

In addition to his errors, Jones went 0-for-5 at the plate and grounded into two double plays to snap an 11-game hitting streak. He lowered his majors-leading average from .420 to .409.
......................................................................

The thing about Chipper is that he has some mental blocks when he gets in a slump. I have watched him for years. Usually he tanks long before this. I am counting on the tank.

Go Chipper !

Not happening.

0-5 means he'll go on a nice 4or5 game streak where he goes 2-3, 2-4, 3-5.

You guys are so dumb for taking this bet ROFL.

Chipper is winning the batting title son.
