I respect Hitchens's takes on religion, but I have never been a fan of his political views. I've been thinking about buying his new book about Thomas Paine's The Rights of Man, but I feel like I'd be disappointed. I liked his book God is Not Great, but it wasn't all that.

Yeah, I agree. He's very opinionated and always makes for an entertaining interview. I've seen him on MSNBC a few times and it's always pretty entertaining whether I agree with his views or not.
