Just my opinion, but I really don't think the kid is that talented a la Heupel in their last championship run. They have a great system, OL, core of receivers and defense to boot. While I do think White is a great story (comeback from injuries) and his a good, accurate passing QB with unreal numbers, I just don't believe if you put him on Georgia or LSU (just a couple teams that come to mind) that he'd be all that great. My three cents...

Coming into the season, an overwhelming majority of people on this very board said OU was overrated -- their D would be good, but their offense would NOT be good. White has no knees and was certain to go down for the season for a third straight year, they lost the top 4 receivers in school history, and also lost a 2000 yard RB. People weren't talking about anyone on OU's offense as All-Big12, much less AA or Heisman. Now all of a sudden White is simply the beneficiary of the talent around him.

Compare his stats with those of the last 10 or so Heisman winning QBs and you'll be surprised. There's a reason OU's offense is averaging 49 points a game.

scott do you live in this forum; anyone that backs you up you are in here thanking them; please usc lose so i dont have to her this faggot homer anymore; well hold that no matter what happens scott will come up with some reason why they lost just like that horrible loss to a horrible cal team

vyrus; have you even been on madjacks before; scott has no good information or handicapping at all period; he thinks a big bet is $500; he is a homer joke and that is a fact

keep thinking your 2 loss michigan team is one of the best out there and perry goes for the heisman; that quote out there just proved the point about jason white;i am glad you posted that you just summed it up; he is not cocky at all; the guy is a flat out stud; every school including fsu; florida; miami; and ou went after him he was a huge recruit; obviously you go thru 2 acl surgeries you are just glad to be on the field; and as far as pub all you have to do is look towards b stoops who never says anything and he said the biggest difference is white not his defense; lastly coregegontookthewolvestothewoodshed; are you saying by that quote that ou off line and skill position players are the best out there; i respect ou but come on give me a break ou has great players but the best i dont think so; white makes them great; his record and stats and his ego show it; give it up:moon:

A big bet for me is $500-$1000. I do not post all my picks on regular basis, but I do post my big plays on Madjacks. Here are the big plays i have posted on madjacks and its all documented.

USC over AU Winner $500
Arizona St. over Iowa Loser ($900)
Texas over Oklahoma St. Winner $500
Purdue over Iowa Winner $500
2-team ML parlay Texas and Purdue Winner $500 to win $830
Tulsa over Louisiana Tech Winner $1000
Kansas St. over Nebraska Winner $1000

So on plays this year betting $500-$1000 I am 5-1. I think that is impressive and very profitable. I am having a great year.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving. :toast:

I thought this thread was about the heisman trophy!

Which, by the way, will be won by Jason White. The most impressive college quarterback in the last decade.

The same can be said for Ron Powlus...so what's your point?
Be careful who you call a homer....you're starting to sound just like him. :nono:
