there kicker is so bad check out what peterson said in this article

It might even be time for a campus-wide tryout. Are there any former high school kickers or soccer players or even a current women?s soccer player who can get the job done? Time to use the Broncos? vaunted creativity in a new way.

Petersen, for his part, seems open to the most radical of options ? foregoing the field goal altogether.

?If we?re too worried about it, we?re not going to kick. We?re going to go for it. We?re not just going to put a guy out there if we don?t think we have a good chance to make it,? Petersen said.

?And we see these guys every day, and even going back last year to the TCU game, I thought 100 percent he?s going to make this ball. I wouldn?t have put him out there. It doesn?t matter what the other people think about that. They?re not out there every day with these guys, and so if we don?t think we can make a field goal from that range we?re going to go for it.

?It?s that simple.?

Peterson is an amazing coach. I would trade les miles and a honey badger straight up or him. Broncos are just a young team, bastards cost me money tonight with that terrible preformance. Boise is who we thought they were, young and shitty. They will bounce back. Don't forget the Ou fiesta bowl win, probably the best football game I have ever seen.

I don't know what was worse, the QB play for both teams, especially BYU (before they made the change) or the coaching for both teams. Petersen was way too impatient, especially in the first half (fake punt) and I think it carried on over to the turning down of some very makeable FG attempts. I'm sure he considers himself a very lucky man today, and thankful for that brute of a nose guard that practically won the game by himself. Got to love BYU's D, especially that goal-line stand, but I do believe a team with a good QB, and a line that can protect him, would light up that slow secondary.
