Pretty interesting....one game this year on Christmas Eve and two on Christmas Day...

December 24th - Green Bay vs Minnesota 3pm
December 25th - Raiders vs Chiefs 4 pm
December 25th - Titans vs Broncos 8pm

Some great matchups but I question if they will get the ratings.

Eagles open the season at home vs the Giants on Sept 12th at 4:15 ---- counting the days already.

   After this holiday season, I can see a spike in the divorce rate in 2005...:D

Will NBA have traditional Xmas games? They will get killed if they go head to head with NFL...

This may be one of the best Holiday seasons I remember. Between December 24 and January 2, you have 2 full regular season weeks in the NFL plus all the bowl games. The NFL and sportsbooks have to love the scheduling this year; football-hating wives and girlfriends will be tortured. :D

Oh I'll be watching too - I mean come on I watched the Blue/Gray Classic and the Holiday Bowl this year on Christmas --- nothing better than ending the holiday with a little NFL action at 8 pm.

I tend to think the opposite. I think it'll be just like Thanksgiving. Holidays and football are a great combo.

8pm on Christmas Night I would agree....but 3pm on Christmas Eve is going to be tough to get a lot of viewers in my opinion.

Blackman, you're right. Xmas eve will be tougher, but Christmas Day should be a winner for the league. Like Elvis, once the morning is over, the day tends to slow down. It'll be a nice pick-me-up (like on Thanksgiving).
