Guys,

I am planning a trip to the Sugar Bowl this year. I hate to admit it, but I have never been to NOLA before. I travel a lot and have points that I can use for my stay. Do you think you could help me choose which hotel is the best? Here are the choices:

Westin New Orleans Canal Place on Rue Iberville
W New Orleans French Quarter on Chartres Street
W New Orleans on Poydras Street
Sheraton New Orleans on Canal Street

I really appreciate any insight Madjackers may have.

I am REALLY looking forward to this trip!

1st thing I would do is check availability at those properties ... besides the Sugar Bowl, New Orleans is one of top places for New Years in the country ... I have been there many times and can tell you Canal St or the Quarter will be fine and good location for all hanging out, gambling, eating, sightseeing, etc, but you will need to catch the electric car down to the Dome

I will defer to the locals for more info and glad to offer up some suggestions
