Just looking over the games so I won't be out of touch with baseball. This one really jumped out at me.

Cinci was embarrassed last nite in only their 2nd shutout of the season, and should have a much better effort today.

Dempster is aweful this yr in day games. 20IP, 23ER for 10.35ERA, 18BB to 10Ks, and a WHIP well over 2:eek:. On grass this yr, 39.2IP, 26 ER for 7.14ERA, 46BB to 49Ks, and WHIP of 1.9:eek:. He's only allowed 5ER over his L20IP, but look at the opponents: TB, ChiCubs, and Zona.

Sabathia, by looking at the surface has done great lately, with his team winning 8 of L9 in the games he's pitched in, but look at the oppoenents: Pitt, Det x2, SD, Col (got hammered for his only L), ChiSox, Oak, Tx x2 (who were in the middle of a 3-12 slump). In his L3 outings, he went 3-0, but has a WHIP of 1.47 vs SD, Det, and Pitt, and he'll be coming off of pitch counts of 117, 101, 120.

How about fielding?? Clv ranks 29th in MLB in errors committed, Cinci......dead last at 30th, at almost an error a game avg. These 2 teams combine for 138 errors committed, and it's only end of June.

Then we have Crawford behind HP, who's gone Over in 5 of his L6 games, with the game totals at 13, 18, 9, 11, 11, 14.

Add all these up, Over9 at -104 seems like a really good bet. I'm plunking some dough on this one, for sure.

Any thoughts??:D

Good luck today:)

and the first shutout was by our beloved BLUE JAYS...
(thank you , please...!)

I think it'll be another low scoring game...sabathia is returning to great form...I don't know how you could lay any money on dempster....?

good luck in whatever you pick.

TV, I wouldn't call a WHIP of 1.47 great form vs the likes of Det, Pitt, and SD. Plus I'm putting money on Dempster to fawk up, not to win;)

I just noticed IE's on the Over, too, which makes me feel even better about the Over bet.

Good luck today, my man:D

Danny,

FWIW....I think you might be right on with the Over, especially considering that the ball might be carrying pretty good today with the wind out to center or right. Cleveland hasn't been hitting too many long balls lately, but I think they have a really good shot to poke a few out in this game...especially since you're going to see at least 5 bats from the left side for Cleveland and I think Dempster's a little more prone to giving up the long ball than Sabathia, especially with the way the wind is. The fact that Dempster struggles more so vs lefties and has been that way in his career as well favors the Tribe to a degree. I do expect a pretty good game from Sabathia today. Don't know if this helps at all...but just another's view.

Best of luck to all your games today :D

Hope all is well, talk to you soon. And good luck to you today, bud.:D

Evilhomer,

As much as I want the Indians to win, since I bet them, they couldn't hit Jose freaking Lima the other night....lol

That was a dumb play by me, but I seem to always get sucked in with this team. Sorry asses....
