furman -12-; maybe I'm playing into a sucker line but I like the paladins (love that nickname) to even up against the bulldogs tonight. furman lost to the citadel jan. 16th as 7- point favorites, so should be motivated. paladins currently stand 9-4 s/u and ats in the socon, 3-0 ats in February. and are playing their 4th game in 8 days, as we are still in the midst of that southern conference game crunch I spoke of earlier this week. the bulldogs are 3-9 s/u, 5-7 ats in conference play, and 0-3 ats in February. citadel is playing their third game in 6 days, and their last game Monday against samford suggested they may be hitting a wall. citadel led 70-66 in that game with 6 minutes to play, but lost by 9 after allowing samford to score 29 points in that span to win by 9. what's worse is, coming in Charleston, samford had lost 6 straight and 9 of their last 10. losing in that fashion at home is as bad as it gets. besides furman's players circling this game, the school's on board, offering students free pizza and free trolley rides to the game. also paladins have stepped up their 3 pt defense in recent weeks and appear ready to lay the wood to the bulldogs.
