This is just sick, me and my buddy joey c put a few bucks on each game every week, to try and make up the money that vegas steals from us, so I'm up a few games, and then comes the damn Browns game, I got Cleveland +3 with the score 23-14 Pitt and Cleveland driving...a few minutes later, wham! TD Browns...ahh the cheap backdoor score:D ...and I start celebrating...then comes the extra point...:thefinger and we all know what happens then, the jackass misses and thats it:( , so then I couple minutes later I'm looking over the spreads and o/u totals when something catches my eye...the o/u in the game was, yes...43.5:eek: !!!!!! I felt sick reading this, good job vegas way to steal more money from us, and for those who had Browns +3, and over 43.5 all I can say is sorry, and u just can't beat the mafia:shrug:

...sick...just sick

It just adds up, I mean come on, I know kickers do miss extra points every once in a while...but a simple missed xp affects two plays?in a huge rivalry game, thats vegas mafia...

My hometown book is mafioso. He says the big crew had the over! That is why the spread went to 43.5 from 43. Now, they are after Dawson & his family, his associates & even his pet dog big time. He may be too afraid to ever kick again, by jeez. The boys even called me and asked me for my input & help. They may never let him fuggit aboutit.........
Leffy, you are never gonna get connected with an attitude like that !

.Get off all this bullshit that vegas knows whos going to win the game. The line is set and the public buys it up or down and there isnt any voodoo involved.I prommise you I lived there and was a part of the capping sports service business longer than you are alive. If you think all that bullshit is true you might as well go out in your yard and sacrifice a frog to the football Gods.It makes about as much sense as anyone KNOWING who is going to win.Brother we are making an educated prediction thats all. Some are better in judgeing the outcome of games than others. Now settle back and look at the game pick the side you think will win and dont worry about the man being loaded one way or the other cause if the man is loaded on one side I promise you he's won enough over the weekend to cover it.That is unless he's takeing Buddy's action. AMEN

true, Joe..........a bunch of educated guesses, that is all it is.
*Unless you are connected type dude (preferably a don or perhaps captain) and can control and know the outcome of games ahead of time, of course ! :D

OR how about Cleveland had to score before they could try the extra point.

hate to burst your bubble

hate to burst your bubble

but that kinda bad luck is nothing, chicken feed to a thousand stories a lot of other guys can relate ...

I bet Oilers years ago and their Kicker missed 2 chip shots and THREE!! Xps to cost me a cover by 1 ...

had monster middle if KC kicker, nick lowery, makes a chip shot years ago, he hadnt missed from this range in 6 years, course he shanked ... then costas comes on TV in studio following game (it was xmas time) and he had this toy kicker that he operated by slapping its head to re-enact a FG and activate toy's kicking mechanism, and costas smirks, "Wide right, Lowery!"

stand in line, hehe ... I could list a hundred just as bad ...

sorry about the missed XP, but in scheme of tuff breaks, that game wasnt bad, Northcutt had 90 punt return, i dont think anyone capped that into their cover/noncover ... furthermore, if you want to check into stats of game, pitt 25 Fds/browns 9 ... Pitt 391 yards/browns 193 ... all in all, any brown backer was lucky to get a push, and I didnt have Pitt either ...

just my 2 cents,
pt1gard
