Cleveland +1.5 looks too easy.

Cleveland was a 9 point favorite at home and now getting 1.5 in Orlando. Are we suppose to believe home court worth 9 points? Home court is usually worth 3 to 4 points at the most. Cavs should be favored by about 3 this game. Vegas is pretty much telling you that the Magic will win this game.

Home favorites of 9 pts in a playoff series are usually 3 to 4 point favorites when they play the same team on the road. Cleveland is the trap here, they should be favorites in this game not dogs.

Before Yao Ming got hurt the lakers opened at -7 in the first game,which they lost by 8,they were favored by 9- (opener) in game two and then were indeed -1- in the first game in Houston,then Yao got hurt and they started at -3- in #4.Interesting theory HFK.The line tells me somebodys gonna get spanked,not sure who myself but will factor this in the equation.Thanks for sharing the observation you made.GL

HFK, I see your point there books want CAV $$$...at +1.5 but let look at LAK@DEN game 3. LAK was a 6-7Pts FAV @ HM so GM3 they @DEN, wouldn't they be PK or -1 FAV. Instead they are a 3.5-4pts dog and LAK won outright. I think CAV will win SU or if ORL win probably will not cover. So I tries to get 2. 2.5 if I can. BOL

Lol, back on topic, the Cavs are getting points even with LBJ's instant classic shot and all. IMO, it seems like they're trying to lure in money on CLE.

I think if LBJ 3pt did not go in at the buzzer and ORL up 2-0, they would be installed at 3-3.5pt FAV for GM3.

I always heard 4 to 4.5 for home court.
Cavs having lost at home only once this season probably added another point so if you subract 5.5 from the 9 point spread then you get Cavs -3.5 then you have to subtract another 4 to 4.5 for Orlando being at home.That gets you to Orlando by 1 at home.

You are taking the 4 points off the last line for taking it out of Cleveland but not adding 4 more for it shifting to Orlando.
Neutral court and this line would be Cavs -4.5

Stay away from the under!!! That is what the books want to you do..... They want the over bettors! The money is about even between ML Clev bettors and Orl -1.5 ATS bettors....

But, as of now 76% on OVER.... UNDER IS WHAT I LIKED BEFORE STUDYING, AND PROBABLY WILL TAKE... BE BACK 10-20 min BEFORE TIPOFF.. MY SCRIPT SHOULD BE IN MAILBOX AT THAT TIME>.. :142smilie
