Well, even though I'm a huge Cleveland fan, I just cannot see laying the huge moneyline of -200 or more on the Tribe tonight. There's a couple of fear factors in this game for me:

First of all, Finley scares me...just don't know what you're gonna get from him or when he can lose it all of a sudden. He can go from looking unhittable to getting bombed and vice versa very quickly.

Finley won his last time out, but remember, this guy hasn't won consecutive decisions in 4 months.

Even though he did win vs KC this year, I believe that was back in May. Which is where I feel the KC vs Lefty situation comes in.

Early in the year KC was just horrible against southpaws...but I really don't think that's the case right now. Just seems like they're facing a lefty about every other game the last month and a half or so, and I really think they're NOT that bad vs. them. As a matter of fact they are 6-4 vs Lefties the last 10 after starting off something like 7-26.

Anyways, I know there's a lot of very good handicappers on the Tribe tonight.....and they probably WILL WIN. But it's just my opinion that there is definately no value in this line whatsoever.

Opinions welcome.

Good Luck to all.

I agree with you...laying 200 on the Tribe scares me a little, but I have a feeling Finley will come up strong tonight. You're right, he's been less than impressive this year. Besides KC's woes vs lefties, the issue that may sway me toward the Tribe tonight is #3 spot in the playoff rotation. Finley HAS to be productive in the next few starts to secure that role in the playoffs. Burba and Woodard have an outside shot...but Finley isn't getting any younger, and this may be one of his last shots to go for the whole banana. In the same vein, he doesn't have many innings in his arm this year after having been hurt for most of the season. Just offering another viewpoint......

Good luck tonight

Might hook the Tribe up with somebody. Finley is 3-1 3.66 ERA with 5+ days rest. That and the other obvious numbers against KC might make them worth a look. One caviat, KC is 5-4 vs. LHP their last 9 chances, hence lessening exposure with a 2 or 3 team parlay.
