I have seen social plan so far I am for and that is Obama's plan to raise cap on payroll taxes above the current $97,000 to shore up SSN.
My reason--I don't see it as actual tax increase--rather lifting ceiling.
My only stipulation would be all revenue from it has to go to SSN fund and not siphoned off to other projects.
IMO those on the lower wrung of SNN have made effort and paid in to system and demise of SNN would be killer for them.
Those making over 97K should have enough saved the cap on their benefits despite no caps on contribution should matter little compared to those it benefits.

What we need to do is the opposite. Offer a tax-free payment of $25,000 to everyone willing to be voluntarily sterilized. This way, only people committed to having children would have them. The rest could blow the money on crack and heroin (and even potentially O.D. and die). Talk about a win/win situation.

This is actually sounds like a decent idea!!! Less unwanted kids=lower public education costs, less damage to the enviornment(using less resources to provide another person with modern american lifestyle), less money spent on health care......you get the idea.......but of course it would never fly. Could you imagine the public response if a presidential candidate (or any politician for that matter) proposed this?? :mj07:
I understand the theory of it, actually giving the child the money at a certain age (and not the parent) which literally gives them a more equal shot if they prepare themselves properly to make it to college or purchase a home.
However, I can't see how it could be funded, nor do I really think it's a very good idea overall. This would be a monstrous amount of money, ongoing, and considering how our debt currently sits, is not remotely fiscally responsible.
I kind of doubt this was anything much more than a political comment to drum up support from a group she probably wants and needs support from in her democratic campaign. I doubt you'll hear much more about this if she wins the nomination.

I agree offer the same type of financial incentive for those that have abortions and sterilizations procedures so that in the long run we will have less crime,better education,better health care,less abused children,less poverty and less wanted children. The democrats & the republicans would never go for a plan like mine. It makes to much sense. The hypocrites on the right value life, yea right & the hypocrites on the left like the right need poverty and suffering to maintain power. It's complex for some. Think about it ! We have to stop giving stupid people (what they think ) are financial incentives to bring life that has not much of a chance into this world..... I know it tough but someone has to say it.......
The laws we have in this country are set up for single moms and boy friends for the poor & dumb people. Politicians love baby daddies they don't want marriage and dads. The republicans talk about family values but do nothing and have done nothing to bring families together. The democrats like problems that can't be fixed, they love poverty, it gives them someone to play the class card to . Both parties have no problem throwing money at problems to try and fix them but they wont throw tax cuts in the right direction of families or would be families. KEEP THEM BREEDING LIKE ANIMALS, UNEDUCATED & APATHETIC, THAT'S THE PLAN OF OUR TWO PARTIES IN POWER ! After they play the class card they play the race card. The only thing worse that a poor black dumb democrat is a poor dumb white republican. We have more poor white people in this country than ever before, the republicans didn't show up for black issues at that debate the other night, when are they going to have a debate for poor white America ? I drive threw some of the not so nice streets of Syracuse and I can't believe what I see in white America. If white America can't get any love , what's going to happen to the people that America has historically forgotten ? The stock market is up, the economy is good, tell that to the people with limited education and no stock portfolios and 2 min wage jobs.

It's not how many you have it's how many you can nurture and care for. Some people exceed their limit with one. The debate about immigration legal and illegal is a smoke screen, immigrants can't do anything to America unless our leadership or lack of leadership allows it. Immigrations is just part B of the race & class cards they play to distract the masses from their incompetence. Get mad at the foreigners, don't get mad at us hard working politicians that give away your country every day. We are not losing America to immigrants, we are allowing America to be squandered by the leadership we have chosen.
To late for me. Even my grand kids. Or are they going back 5/10 years. Hell make it 10 grand. Might as well piss it away on our own kids. Stop the give away over seas.
