Tex basically looked better one week with McCoy. Moo U plays hard under Rhodes and if the QB does not get hurt they remain tuff-he is a good scrambler and playmaker.

Looking at how Texas did 2nd half of BYU through the UCLA game, they have been pretty impressive. They are running the ball as well as they have since Jamaal Charles was there and the passing game is decent. They finally have a TE to throw to after 2 years of injuries at that position and with Marquise Goodwin back they have added a little more depth/experience/speed. Shipley has been better than expected. Harsin continues to add in twists to the offense to keep defenses honest and to get more people involved.

The secondary under Diaz appears to be improving too. The DL is not that strong with very little push up front.

Texas is clearly a team on the rise after last years crapfest, but ISU is a step up in competition for them.

Texas has some revenge from last year too. Prior to last year Texas had regularly blown out ISU.

Texas is the better team, but HFA and Rhodes gives ISU the edge. I'd take the +10.5.
