Dan Cloutier aggravated a long-standing, undisclosed injury in Tuesday's game and was in obvious pain in the third period, according to the Vancouver Sun. Although neither Cloutier nor Vancouver management will comment on the nature of the injury, the goaltender said that he would be re-evaluated today and will know then if he'll miss any games.

He is not playing tomorrow vs the sharks.

Cloutier day-to-day with knee sprain

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -- Vancouver Canucks goaltender Dan Cloutier has a sprained right knee and will not play Thursday against the San Jose Sharks.

"It'll be a day-to-day situation where we're just going to have to assess how his development and progression moves forward," Canucks coach Marc Crawford said Wednesday.

Peter Skudra will start against the Sharks, and the Canucks called up Tyler Moss from Manitoba of the AHL.

Cloutier hurt his knee in the third period of Tuesday's 8-0 win over the Atlanta Thrashers. Cloutier is 31-13-6.
