Wouldn't count your chickens yet--not often Drudge gets caught in the NYT/CBS/TIMES rope a dope.

The videos on raw show nothing--will wait till i see video--"in its entirety" and especially would like frontal view of person in question--hard to see any mocking from backside--I do think the person making comment about him should come forward--definately chickenshit not to--and does question credibilty.

What I find more amusing is all those questioning liberals heckling anybody -- That's there modus operandi --right after their freedom of speech spiels :)

I am going say Drudge was correct--we'll see
My reasons--gain drudge not know for throwing up shit that won't stick--also seeing the attitude the guy in question on CNN video-- defines that CNN's "most trusted" look ;)

--reasons to think maybe Drudge wrong--always questions with un-named sources--my opinion they should be banned from news media.

i like Drudge report--you get a little from both sides--Generally the 1st news I read.
--believe he gets credit for breaking clinton/Monica story--also has about 15 million viewers--has lots of non political stuff especially science-- you don't find a lot of places--also easy to sort through what you want to read and don't want to.

You might note also--he followed his report with CNN's the following morning--as did I ;)
--fair and balanced :)

I can break down your analysis, Wayne, with the fact that you continue to back an unnamed, unreferenced, un-backed up report that is not backed up by any linked or reported video, that makes a completely unsubstantiated claim.

Congratulations...you never cease to amaze me.

I, too, like the Drudgereport, who links sensational stories for the sake of gaining notoriety and leaning to the right - as you well know (or you should). It's my homepage, which gets me on the search for the truth...every day.

Good luck proving your post...far from it at this point. In fact, it gets more dubious as time goes by.

I can sum up your love for Drudge with the quick post about him breaking the Clinton/Monica story. No doubt where you continue to get your sources and forward the "cause." Matt is clearly your hero...

Strange about this reporter being nasty. As reported on MSNBC He asked one question and never said another word. Of course in his report that day. He found it strange Mc Cain in trying to show how safe it was to walk in the street was with 88 armed soldiers and two gun ship for cover over head. And picture of Mc Cain in a vest didn't make it look to safe either. Then report from army that 4 snipers were assigned to the rout to ad hidden security. So I guess it was safe for him.

DJ it was so safe that the very next day they took in sniper fire. This fellow Michael Ware said something a week ago that rub these liars the wrong way and that is why they tried to dirty him up. He said if he went anywhere in Bagdad he would be killed within 15 minutes. I think the total is now 100 solideirs two ships and three helicopters. If this is the safe area i sure as hell don't need to see the unsafe areas.

Have you seen the video, yet, Wayne?

:142smilie

Chad this whole circus is what the neocons excel at until they get caught. Now it is presented step by step but Kentucky Joe still won't see what the problem is.

No haven't seen entire video yet and imagineit would be up here if anyone else did--

Do know that Iraq'i extended curfew in baghdad for 2 hours/ the day before McCain arrived so evidently the primary unbiased source thinks things are improving.

Well, I'd submit it would be pretty diificult to know much of anything about a "primary unbiased source" that we know nothing about, if they exist at all - I would guess for good reason. I'll stick by the person involved, and others around who know the person who said it didn't happen, especially since the accused is asking everyone to watch for themselves and see what the truth really is.

Not only that, I would say that considering McCain himself is claiming he misspoke and now regrets his comments, the story sounds even more curious. First, off, the guy would be appropriate to have scoffed at the comments (an extended curfew 2 hours in the evening and one at 5 am) after going on five years of conflict with rising problems again, requiring another "push" of our soldiers), and second of all, as most can realize, he probably didn't do it at all.

When you can produce anything resembling a real source or someone who would back it up, MAYBE this post can have relevance or credibility. Otherwise, it's just biased right wing propaganda that is probably not true.

I'm also thinking that the extended curfew might either be rescinded, or shouldn't have happened at all, considering the 20 people getting blasted in various Baghdad attacks yesterday or day before and an escalation in attacks on the "Green Zone" in late March, things like that.

I don't suppose our government could have a role in the curfew extension the day before McCain's arrival and press conference, could it? Nah...nothing political about saying things are getting better, stay the course, is there?

Here we have a United States Senator caught in a lie about the war. So what does the Right do. They blame the guy who caught him. Priceless.

As for Bush and Clinton on Vietnam. Neither served. Bush used connections to get a cushy NG job that he didn't even have to complete. All the while he was in favor of the war effort and thought Vietnam was a good idea.
Clinton did not serve in a war he did not believe in and made comments condeming the war.
Seems to me the coward is the guy who thought the war was a good idea as long as someone else was doing the fighting.
