Every coach takes a moment to do something to instill passion or an aggressive attitude. Nothing in that video shows it as egrigious in my mind. Sure a swipe at the ball, a little shoulder into the chest... come on you get hit harder in a game. There was absolutely no malice intended in what he was doing.

Back in the early 60's my parents sent me to boarding school in Windsor, ON ( Assumption ) to get an attitude adjustment. Well I played on the hockey team, I was pretty good 1st line center & thought my shit didn't stink. Well the coach had us lined up explain some drills & naturally I was goofing off, coach skated up to me & floored me with a punch. Brought tears to my eyes called my parents & cried the blues, they sai9d they would call the head master. Next day they call me in & said that they made a decision that my week end pass home was canceled. After that never called home crying the blues. What a time we live in !
Coach was teaching what happens when you don't protect the ball after secuing a rebound. Coach caught some body..personal foul...ball out of bounds. End of story. And to call that a kick is a real stretch.
