LA Daily News is reporting the Lakers are offering him 40 million for 5 years. What the hell?? Eight mil a year, and recruiting is taken out of the equation so all you have to do is coach? Gotta think Mike is at least strongly considering....

I saw this thread late, but I think Coach K would have flopped in the NBA. He is too good of a COACH to be successful in the professional rank.
ScottUSC--I think Pitino has done a better job at Louisville than Calipari at Memphis especially looking at what the programs had when they both came in. Just my two cents.
