I am so glad those crybabies got beat tonight, handily I might add:00hour They are like USC in college football or Notre Dame overrated every year, this year is no different.

The big East is easily the best conference, would not surprise me if all 4 teams make it to the final four, Syr, Lou, Conn, Pitt/Vil winner, there is no doubt best from top to bottom, Big 12 has an argument though

Its all a matter of how you call the game when it comes to Duke. Villanova played great defense the whole night, but there would have been a lot more fouls called on them if they were an ACC opponent of Duke.

I think the refereeing slightly favored Nova but was overall officiated well. Start of 2nd half looked like it was going to go Duke's way. Henderson flopped and got the charge, Singler walked and/or double dribbled and scored.

Its just amazing to see Duke's reactions when they get on the other side of a call that could go either way.

All those bullshit calls and no-calls that keep them in games, give them momentum, and allow them to play a different style didn't happen last night and showed the team they really are. If they are hitting a high %age of 3's, they can hang with most anyone. If they go cold and get anything close to a fair game, they are awful.

I kept thinking there was too much time, and I thought if Duke found a way to comeback, they were going to win the whole tournament.

I was stuck with Missouri/Memphis game. I would have rather watched Duke/Vil, Duke has been overrated all year.

With Duke, they want...and get the best of both worlds during the season and sometimes in the tourney. They want to play physical like a big east team and not have it called. Then flop and flail like an ACC team and get those called. Drive to the basket hard and if any contact, get those calls. And the ACC caters to them.

Last night's game wasn't great officiating. Both teams got away with some stuff. But it was the way most games get called. And Duke gets exposed b/c they were up against a good team.

All those close games they "survive" to average teams in the conference over the last decade or so....a lot of them would be losses in real games.

Yeah, UNC gets a lot too. So do other big name teams. But its 10 times worse with Duke and man, they are so average. I can't wait for coach k to leave.
