I think somehow Auburn may be about to hire Gus Malzahn.

People saying all over that Petrino got a formality of a phone interview and our shitty boosters and pat dye have squashed the possibility of him coming to AU.

And while we're at it, we're going to give Bama what they want and throw a ridiculous offer at Kirby Smart for him to turn down and make us look like complete idiots.

Jaxx, I hope that's not true. It would be a big loss for OSU and the conference. I'm not one of these people that wants Briles, Gundy or whoever leaving for other jobs so it's easier for their own team. I want the Big12 to be as strong as possible.

Local 99.9 the FAN, ESPN radio, was saying Gundy interviewed for Tenn Vols job, but Gundy's denying it, same for the Ark job, he's denying that too. Perhaps it's a ploy for getting some mega bucks like Miles just got a LSU!?

Petersen was in Boulder supposedly on Monday, but he's denied that. Colorado should have never left the Big 12 imho. Same with Neb, they helped keep that conference together.

I saw that too on ESPN teller tape.

UT Board is tough, whomever they bring in, will have to produce right away. Dooley wasn't ready for big time yet and we all know how great of a coach Kiffin is, NOT! UT could go former player to HC in the program, but slim pickens to be honest. Gundy still a name thrown around by the ESPN radio folks connected to UT.

I am hearing that VT's HC is about ready to hand over the head set to Foster, his DC.

Hart probably learned a few lessons from his time at Bama, play it close to the vest. I can remember bama being embarrassed quite a few times in their coaching searches by leaking out who has interviewed and had been offered the job, then when they would turn it down it made them look like dumb asses. If I were an AD I'd keep it in a tight circle of people u can trust or you can get played....see les miles and arky

No, I get that for sure. That is why there is room for an out here, but he botched the Gruden thing big time, or at least it appears so on the surface.

Kent State holding the dreaded team meeting today. MAC coaches have done a terrific job when moving up (Urban Meyer, Brian Kelly to name a couple) and Hazell will do the same. I can't say enough how impressed I am by him.
