I can't wait until I get home... off a week for Thanksgiving... I'm going to have a couple sore thumbs.

I've mentioned this before in other threads, but here we go again:
I was a freak for arcade games back in the 80's. If I had a quarter.....it went into a machine. Every new game that came out, I had to learn.
As far as home systems, I never really caught the fever. I can't explain why, other than "growing up", but you guys are not kids and play these things, so I don't know?
How does the desire to play the shit outta these things in the arcade die off like that? (I think some of it was from the earliest versions being complete crap)
Maybe......I'm subconsciously skeered to get hooked again?

Then, I played Call of Duty on a 52 inch HD with Digital 7.1 surround on the PS3.
It is AWESOME.
I played it from January to mid February a couple times a week.
Point being, it's fun but it's not a weekly thing unless it's a new game.
Plus football in scarce in January...
We use our PS3 for Netflix now. And as a media server.

I know this may sound odd, but can COD be played on Wii and if so are there any differences? Used to be a sports gaming fool, but kids and all yah know.
It can be played on the Wii and IMO is fun with the wii controllers. I think the graphics, although still very good, aren't as good as a ps3.

came with RC car which has color video camera and mic you watch on the screen of the controller...

geez, I might have to find some crack head who is jonesing for a rock and buy his for nothing. I saw some ads for it and it's making me want to invest a little free time.

This game ups the difficulty level. It is harder than Modern Warfare in terms of online multiplayer.
So far I like it - and I love Modern Warfare.....still getting into it.

I did the same thing. Bought a PS3, played Modern Warfare a few times over the course of a month, and now the PS3 is being used for the actual purpose I bought it...... A blue ray player that streams netflix.
