The Rockies are 2-5 in Road Series Openers with the O/U at 2-4-1. We have John Thomson starting his 3rd game. In his 1st againts Montreal he gave up 6 runs in 6 innings. Than showed improvement in his 2nd againts Florida. Allowing only 1 run in 7 innings.
The Giants are 5-2 in Home Series Openers with the O/U at 2-5. We have Shawn Estes pitching. Who as only allowed 3 runs or less while going 7 or more innings in his last 3 games.
The Rockies VS LH pitching average 4 runs on the road, 4.11 at night, and 3.8 as a dog. While the Giants Average 5.17 VS RH pitching,
3.75 at night, and 5.23 as a Fav. Giving us an average of 8.6
Now if the starting pitching can go 7 or more innings. So we can stay out of the Bullpen I think we have a good shot here.
