miamio+8(120)...

think cin.(big fan of the coach) is getting too much respect after last week's win over oregon st., in which osu gained more yards than cin...

cin. is 4-18 su in it's last 22 road games, in which cin. has allowed an average of 33.5 points per game...miami is 11-1 su/ats at home when it scores >28 points...

i'll take the home dog in this in-state rival...

u 51(120)usc/neb....

usc is breaking in a realatively new offense & i question how sharp they will be for this game after scrimmaging against idaho in the first game of the season & after having last week off....& playing against a very good nebraska defense....on the other side of the ball, usc has probably the top 2 or 3 defenses in the nation & i think they will be able to limit nebraska on offense...

system...

play under - all teams where the total is between 49.5 and 56 (usc) - first month of the season, after closing out last season strong with 4 or more wins in last 5 games, with an experienced qb returning as starter.

ats record is...34-11 over the last 5 seasons.....75.6%

the average total posted in these games was....52.4

the average score in these games was...team 23.7,opponent 19.8...total points scored....43.5...

the number of games in which this system covered the total by 7 or more points was 30....66.7% of all games....

over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is....16-7.....

i took the under last year & won when these 2 played & i'll take the under again this year....

good luck.

Good points on Mia (Oh). Good spot for a letdown imo. I haven't pulled the trigger, but I likely will.

BTW, do you root for any particular ncaa program:shrug:

I know what you mean. As you know I play against LSU regularly. I'm gonna ask my parents where we lived in Brooklyn til I was 4 or so. Maybe we were neighbors, although I was probably in diapers at the time:SIB

thanks guys...appreciate it.....

kramer...it seems like alot of money has come in on ball st because some books went down 6.5 on navy but i'm sticking with them because i like thier grit...

adding...

byu-6(120)....

i don't like laying points on the road but i watched the complete games between byu/ucla (had ucla) & tulsa/monroe...& was more impressed with byu's loss than i was with tulsa's win....like navy, i like byu's way they play football...

u42 virginia/n.car....

this game falls under the same system that has the under in the tcu/af game last night...

u49 akron/indy....

think akron's defense will slow down an over-rated indy offense (so far they played weak teams) & akron couldn't move the ball on army's defense so i think indy should be able to neutralize the akron's offense...

system....

play under - all teams where the total is between 42.5 and 49 (akron) - off a road loss, in the first month of the season, after closing out last season with 2 or more straight losses....

ats record is....29-11 over the last 10 seasons......72.5%

the average total posted in these games was....46.2

the average score in these games was...team 18.9,opponent 21.7...total points scored = 40.6...

the number of games in which this system covered the total by 7 or more points was 24....60% of all games....

u69 w. mich/missouri....

this may seem like a crazy bet & it may well be but i'm counting on missouri tightening their defense for their home opener...

system....

play under - any team against the total (w. mich. & missouri) - in a game involving two terrible defensive teams (>=440 YPG).

ats record is.....28-6 over the last 5 seasons......82.4%

the average total posted in these games was....61.2

the average score in these games was...team 25.3,opponent 25.3...total points scored = 50.5...

the number of games in which this system covered the total by 7 or more points was 24.....70.6% of all games.

good luck.

thanks mully....good luck to you also...

adding...

c. fla.+17.5....

i like c.fla. for a few reasons...

this is the very first game being played in c.fla's new stadium...so this is the biggest game in c.fla's history...

c. fla.has 17 starters back, have the leading rusher in the nation, & their qb doesn't throw many ints..

c.fla has 2 weeks to prepare for this game...

this game will be the only time texas leaves the state of texas in the first 6 weeks of the season...so hopefully texas won't be that focused for this game...

i read that texas was due to arrive in florida this afternoon, giving them less than 24 hours to adjust to the time change and 90-degree heat and humidity that is far worse than what they experience at home....

here is a system that pertains to this play that i thought was strange when i first read it but it has been successful...so i thought that some might find it interesting...

play on - home dogs of 10.5 to 21 points (c.fla) - off a road win, when playing on a saturday.

ats record is.....26-5 over the last 5 seasons.......83.9%

The straight up record of the team this system pertains to is : (9-22 over the last 5 seasons.)

the average line posted was opponent 14.7....

the average score in these games was....team 24.2, opponent 31 (average point differential = -6.7)

the number of games in which this system covered the spread by 7 or more points was 19....61.3% of all games.....

over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is:....18-2.....

good luck.

fla.-7(120)...

i am betting this mainly because i feel that fla. has a huge advantage on the sidelines...& because tenn. hasn't shown that they can constantly run the ball & their qb is still nursing a bad finger....& although fla. is a young team on defense, they are still loaded with quality players & i think they'll be ready to defend tenn's 1 dimensional attack....

meyer is 22-4 ats after playing a non-conference game in all games he has coached since 1992.

meyer is 17-5 ats in september games in all games he has coached since 1992.
