ESPN confirmed it will not re-sign Colin Cowherd when his contract expires. The national radio show host is the latest outspoken personality to leave ESPN in 2015, following Bill Simmons and Keith Olbermann.

Cowherd has not announced where he will go next, but The Big Lead reported a reunion with Jamie Horowitz at Fox Sports could be in the works.

Interesting. Was listening from about 745am to 820 and don't recall him mentioning it at all. Just going on about expansion and a interview with a Dallas reporter. Maybe his ratings were going down. Or ESPN is cost cutting. My favorite was Feinstein on CBS Radio but his show ended months ago.

he is a little too edgy and outspoken for Disney..

he toned it down in the beginning but as of late..last couple years

both barrels wide slam open..

say what ya will about his style ..

there is nobody better prepared or having done more homework than Colin.

ESPN wants somebody to rival Dan Patrick..

good friggin luck with that..

Dan incorporated everything ya can in a watch and listen sportstalk show ..

He saw the window to tv ..guest and calls open up and it slammed a Dodge Ram Truck through it..

ESPN is furious and they should be....They are the dumb asses who said Dan was washed up.

Good Luck Colin..Early morning or after work drive time has room for ya.

he was my favorite on the network. Yes he is a contrarian and a little over the top but he called it like he sees it and I agreed with him a majority of the time. I will follow him wherever he goes.
